Default About to explode

I am a stay at home mom who works part-time from home. I have a 2 yr old and a 14 week old and deadlines to meet this week. My 14 week old has been crying virtually non-stop for 3 days. My husband just walked in from work and said "why didn't you clean up the kitchen?". Are you kidding me???? We didn't even get to eat lunch until 2 o'clock because the baby had been screaming at the top of his lungs for three hours. I swear I just about smacked him...instead I walked away but I am still steaming mad!

That would have made me mad too. Sorry your little one is so unhappy. I am also a stay at home mom with kids about the same ages and I know my husband just doesn't get it sometimes. It seems that they think because we are home we can get it all done and it just doesn't always work out like that. Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it too!

I would have been mad as well. You are taking on a great deal and he shouldn't say a word. What he should do is notice what a hard time you are having and go do it himself. You are not in the wrong to be upset.

There are some days that are better than others, just hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Heck some days I am amazed by the time 5'oclock rolls around and I still have my sanity.
