Coming home after a long absence is like being born again. The feeling of euphoria is so deep, you choke with happiness while tears flow freely. It's good to be home.
My husband travels a lot for long periods of time and whenever he gets home he gets teary eyed. It is a good feeling to be back in familiar surroundings. Sometimes I travel with him and when we get home I love the way my house smells. It's comforting to be in a place that is always filled with love and happiness.
I love the feeling myself, esp. after I have a vacation or a business trip then it feels like I actually missed my home, which most times I do even though I am still trying to get it in a normal working order.
I have to agree! I love taking vacations, but I love coming home too. There is nothing like a clean house too. Home is where I am the most comfortable and relaxed!
