My daughter is planning an end of school year party at our house. We live in the country. She wants to invite friends up from school to camp out for the night. That includes a bonfire - cookout - swimming - softball, etc.

I'm not sure that I'm 100% on board yet. Your thoughts?

How old is your daughter? How many "friends" is she going to ask? Boys and girls or just girls?

I think it sounds like a cute idea! I bet the kids would love it. I'm not sure I would let boys spend the night though - no matter what age.

My daughter is 14, about 10 girls and 10 boys. No to the boys sleeping over - Are you out of your mind? Kidding. Her dad would freak and he would stay out there with them.

I don't think there's anything wrong with that if they are well supervised, and it sounds like they will be. It'll be something they will have great memories of!
