Tonight is a family night at my house. Usually on Wednesdays we go out together for dinner. It’s Chicken Wing night! We have had to skip the last 2 Wednesday wing nights though – too busy. We are going tonight though! My parents go and 2 of my cousins and their families along with my family. Do you get together with your extended family for “dinner nights”?
That sounds like a blast! Unfortunately, no, I don't see any of my family on a regular basis because we live very far away. I think it's great that you all make that time for each other so frequently.
I have always wanted to do something like that, but unfortunately I have never had the ability to do so. My family lives to far apart to be able to spend more time with them.
I have a pretty screwed up extended family, which I think is pretty normal. We don't get together more than we have to because things always seem to end up going wrong.
Wow, after reading the responses I am pretty lucky! I love getting together with my extended family, we are all super close. You know I guess at times I take for granted the relationship I have with my family.
