Default Family Reunion coming up

How fond of you are these? To tell the truth I'm not crazy about big crowds and this is what these usually turn into. We only have them like every 3 years or so and have to admit that once I get there they aren't to bad. It's just so hard trying to keep up with who is who!

Well to tell the truth I'm not fond of them at all. Well large ones anyway. I don't mind the small ones where it is all mostly immediate family but when you start getting into second, third and fourth cousins and way down the line, it's just to complicated for me.

Ours are never more than 30 so it's easy to keep track. There's so much to do and so many people to do it with I usually end up feeling like I should've spent more time with whoever I didn't have time to be with a lot.

I love them! It's a lot of fun trying to figure out who is who. Which side of the family they belong to and just how far down the line they are as far as cousins go. Some you have never even met or heard of before!

If they are just small ones with mostly immediate family then I will always make a point to go. But I really don't like those huge ones where you don't know anyone and don't have time to get to know them.

Family reunions are only slightly more depressing than high school reunions. I really prefer neither, too many people in both areas that drive me mad and always like to start trouble.

Depressing? I love our family reunions. They are a ton of fun and I love seeing people that have moved out of the area. We had ours about 3 weeks ago and it was a huge success! The kids all got along and so did the adults.
