Lightbulb Getting Old

Alzheimer's disease runs in our family and my 79-years old auntie has the worst case. Is there a way to prevent it? I am afraid of getting old and be like her.

I read an article describing that drinking coffee regularly and moderately (say one or two cups a day) will reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer. It's good news because I am a coffee drinker myself.

I have never heard anything about preventive measures myself but I am aware that most are confused when it comes to skipping a generation. Most assume it does but really there are no hereditary links that people can find so far.
