Does your family have any holiday traditions that you follow or that you would like to start with your family? When our kids get a little older we want to go to the tree farm and cut down a tree together.

We had a few growing up but it seems many people have stopped with the old ones and are working to create new ones. I still have a few that have to be done, its almost like a superstition. The main two are that on the eve we all get to pick one small gift to open and we are not able to look at the tag to see who its from, so its a surprise. The other is one new and one old (both bought each year) ornament that goes on the tree.

My dad used to cook breakfast on Christmas morning. I've since picked it up for my family. A huge breakfast, sometimes too big. But it is good and the wife looks forward to it.
