I'm guessing most people celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving to some extent, and maybe Easter, but what are the actual holidays that are big deals for your family?
We usually get together for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas every year. Those are the days when I usually make a big feast and everyone comes over to visit.
We usually get together on both sides for the calendar Holidays, along with birthdays. Usually we have one dinner a month. Christmas and Halloween are my biggest ones though.
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Easter are the biggies around here. We always do something for New Year's Eve, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day too, but those aren't as big of a deal as the major holidays.
I think it's interesting to see what different people do around the country for the holidays. I know a lot of folks who actually don't do anything for any holiday.
That's me Rampart. I used to do all the holiday stuff and it really made me overwhelmed and poverty stricken. I try to treat each and everyday as well as the previous one.
