When you do Christmas gifts for your family and friends do you buy a gift at the store or do you make something at home for them? I love homemade gifts, but I don't always have time to get them all done!
We do both and we make a huge deal of wrapping, all of the bells & whistles too. I started doing this as a teen when a friend's mother was showing me how they did their presents. I guess it stuck.
I like to always do homemade when ever possible. I do buy things if it is something someone is wanting bad and I can afford it. I like to wrap things up really nice too.
I probably do a little of both also. If it is something that I know I can make and they would like it then I go for that. I would also perfer homemade things for myself. I buy things too because some stuff I just can't make.
All of our gifts are store bought. I'm not crafty or anything at all so it's for the best. I guess that's not completely true. We do bake cookies for extended family and neighbors.
We do a bit of both. We usually do a lot of baking and candy making so the family always get some goodies when they come for Christmas. We usually have some left that we stash back for unexpected guests.
