Default Kids leaving home

There are times when you live busily and happily at home surrounding by your kids. But there is also time when the kids are grown up and start leaving home one by one. How do you cope with it?

I still have a few at home but I do have 2 that are grown and on their own. I just try to visit them or have them visit me as often as possible. We also keep in touch on the phone and through emails.

I think about this every day! My daughter is only 13 - but in 4 more years she will be headed off to college. It's like yesterday when she was born and a baby in my arms. Where does the time go?

It's a wrench to begin with but, honestly, when you get to a certain age it is lovely to be free and responsible only for yourself and your partner. As long as they have their own families and friends your kids will be fine on their own!
