| I think that sounds like a great idea. We do something similar at our house. The kids are allowed to help plan the dinner menu, but the stipulation is that it has to be a balanced meal. It helps teach my kids to make healthy choices because it's the only way they get what they want for dinner. I'm always amazed at what they come up with. My son always requests mac and cheese, but to make it healthy he has me add tomatoes or broccoli to it. |
