Do you go out as a family and look at Christmas lights? How about Christmas caroling through the neighborhood with your family? We are going to give caroling a shot this year – we are all set with 2 other families. We always look at the lights. Usually we head out one night each weekend for the entire month of December.
We haven't yet, but we are going too. We are pretty close to Atlanta Motor Speedway and they are doing "Night of a Million Lights", and it is pretty inexpensive to go.
We love to ride around different neighborhoods and look at all the homes that are decorated outside. It's amazing at what some of they do and how them managed to get it all done.
We are taking the kids out to see some lights at a park you can walk through this weekend. We have been trying to wait until it warms up just a little bit.
We are making a trip this next weekend to a local city to see all of the lights in the city park. They always have a ton of new lights put up and they are so pretty! It's across from the hospital so a lot of the patients and visitors get to see it too, which is so nice.
I love going to look at the lights! It's so nice to be able to drive around and see all of the decorations. I'm sure that some are cutting back due to the economy and energy bills but then a lot are still decorating like usual.
Oh yes we do! It's something that the whole family loves to do. My daughter loves the manger scenes and my son loves the blow-ups. My parents even go along with us.
We love to look at the lights and take walks down Christmas Tree Lane. It's a lot of fun to see all the lights and just be in the "holiday spirit" for the evening. We always bring hot chocolate too.
