When does your family open their Christmas presents? We will sometimes let the kids open one present the night before but do the rest on Christmas morning. I know a lot of families that do theirs on Christmas Eve. I've never really liked doing that though.
Growing up my family let us open one small gift the night before Christmas. Now we open up everything the morning of. Extended family gifts are sometimes opened up the night before.
We've always opened our on Christmas morning. I did have some friends when I was growing up that always opened theirs the night before. I can remember wanting to do that also but at the same time I wanted something to look forward to in the mornings.
I think that if we opened ours at night then Christmas would be pretty boring. We like to wait until the morning. It's great that our family gets together the night before though.

Always the morning of - never Christmas Eve. My kids always ask and I tell them no. I never thought of giving them pjs though- that is an excellent idea.
It's always Christmas Eve for us. Then on Christmas Day, it's visiting with everyone. We've always done this so it's nothing new for us. It works much better with the kids getting their things at night and then they are more apt to leave them at home instead of insisting on dragging them with them when we go to visit.
