There will always be those family members that you do not always see eye to eye with but what happens when they just really get on your nerves? Right now I have someone like this who have been trying endlessly it seems to bite my tongue over.
We can't really do anything about this but to swallow our own pride. I also have a relative who is a pain in the butt. She will stay as a family member but I can ignore what she is doing.
Been there and yes you are family so you have to just deal with it. Is it someone in your immediate family? I would hope not. If it's someone (cousin, aunt, etc.) just try to limit the times you see them.
It's so true that you can't pick your family. If we could, most of us wouldn't be in this boat. The way I see it, you have two choices - continue to put up with it or tell him/her how you feel. Speaking your mind could cause a big uproar at first, but maybe it would help things in the long run.
