How do you manage to get things done when your kids are under the weather? There are still so many things that I need to do, but the little one of course needs me 100% at her side.
When my kids were young I just concentrated on them. The housework could wait. My boys came first. I still had to cook dinner, but 99% of my day was taking care of the sick child.
If you have family or friends nearby I'm sure they wouldn't mind helping out. I have taken my daughter's washing and ironing before when her kids were sick and I've also made soup and bread for her to help out.
