A friend of mine has a night where she and her kids do a family reading night. I suggested this to my kids and they just laughed! How can I convince my kids do to a family reading night.
I think reading as a family is very important. It is good to start this habit with your kids as young as possible. The older the get, the harder it will be to convince them that this can be fun.
I think you should let them pick the book and maybe they will get more interested. Go to the local library and let them look around. My family has done this for years.
