Default Are your kids easy to get up on school mornings?

I know a lot of kids can set an alarm and get themselves up in the mornings for school. Then you have those that you can wake up and tell them it's time to get up and they will (almost) hop right up without any trouble. And now we come to those that you have to keep telling over and over again to get up and get ready. Which do you have?

I was actually one in the last group you mentioned growing up and I never thought about it much until I was older. I can not stand to be startled into waking up, if I wake to music I am fine. That might be the best trick for some other parents with kids like I used to be. Mine are both in between tolerable and bear like.

We have a mix. One is very easy to get up and most of the time will get up on his own. The other always wants to sleep as long as he possibly can.

You sound like me Bella. We also have two kids, but one of each. You would think the boy would be the hard one to get up in the mornings but it's not. It usually takes a few times of telling our daughter that it's time to get up and moving.

Everyone in our family is evil in the morning, as long as we stay out of each others way to get ready we are good. Now if the other thing happens the morning is a wreck, someone is off crying "its ruined" and someone else is running out the door to get away from the madness.

My son gets up at the crack of dawn every morning regardless of when he goes to bed. My daughter is the one who sleeps in, but she wakes up really pleasant, so I don't usually have issues with her. I'm the one who hates getting up and I'm not worth talking to unless I'm on my second cup of coffee.

They are both very easy to get up on school mornings. I'm not so easy! I hit my snooze button several times prior to getting out of bed. The kids are great though! If they happen to stay up too late the night before, they struggle with the morning. Any other time they are up and ready!

So hard and I would love to change this. I make them go to bed earlier then normal when they give me a lot of problems in the morning. I have tried having them set their alarms for 30 minutes earlier so they can hit the snooze. Nothing works!

It depends, at times they are great at getting up and at times not. Sometimes they are up before me and sometimes I feel like I'm pulling them out of bed by their toes. There really is no rhyme or reason either. The one thing I noticed is that when one won't get up, neither will the other.
