Default Any tips on homemade cat toys?

My cat likes these little furry mice that have beads in them. She likes the noise they make when I through them. I think it helps her track them better. She'll bring them back in her mouth, dunk them in her water bowl and then put them in her (dry) food. If I could make something similar it'd save me a lot of money and a lot of crawling around looking for them under the furniture.

take a piece of burlap and cut it in to a square and sew it up like a sac. Then put a bell in the back and sew it shut. I made a few of these for out cat and he loves them.

My little guys love to chase the plastic ring off of the milk jug that comes off when you open it. They are so funny chasing those things. As far as a bell, try some fake fur and sew up tiny mice and put a bell in it.

Deep--I've got about 30 of them on my living floor right now. She likes the orange, brown and red better than the tons of blue ones.

Jump-Great idea on the burlap and bell. Thanks so much!
