Default Baking soda?

Does anyone put baking soda in their cat litter to cut down on the smell? I read that someplace recently but wasn't sure if it was a good idea or if it would work.

I've used it a lot and it does work. Won't last forever though but helps out. I try to get the kind of litter that's suppose to stop the odor but none of it does completely so the baking soda helps.

I have used it before too and it does seem to work or helps anyway. Some litter just doesn't do what it says it will as far as odors go.
