I have a problem and it's really a scary one. There has been a small bear coming around my house even though I don't have any food out and it can't get to the trash. I have kept the dogs in for days now only letting them out to potty and then I take a rifle with me and they're on a leash.

I haven't been able to let the cats out either so they aren't happy either. So tomorrow I'm calling Fish and Game rangers and see if they can come and trap the little critter for me. This sucks.

That's scary! Hopefully, they will spend someone out to help you remove him from the area. Is it a baby with a mama or just one small adult bear?

We have Black bear in our yard all the time. They don't bother our dogs at all. They usually don't bother anyone unless they have cubs with them. I think you are probably safe.
