I swear to God that my 2 cats are giving me bruises. I don't know what it is about them, they just know when the alarm clock is going to go off. They both jump on the bed about 5 minutes before it goes off. They then run across my hubby and me! I swear they are going to give me bruises and a heart attack!
Your cats are very brave, that or mine are just scarey cats! Mine will prowl around but they are never silly enough to jump on the bed. We have two pieces of furniture that they can sit on in the house, everything else is off limits.
Our cats sleep with us most of the night. They do get up to play and run from one end of the house to the other. I don't know how they know when the alarm is going off, they just do.
That's nice, it's like a natural alarm. I live in an apartment and having cats is currently not an option. But the minute I build my own house I'll make this come true.
Our cats do not jump up on the furniture unless they are chasing a moth or something but they will sit at the edge of the bed to stare you down. Its a little creepy to be waking up next to two cats in a stare down contest, especially when one of them is black so you just see green glowing eyes at you.
Bruises!
