Our cat is so picky! Now he will not drink his water if there is anything in it (even just a small spec). He will sit there and meow until someone gives him new water. I even have a water dispenser. I have seen him eat flies and kill mice but he must have crystal clear water!
Cats can have a very strange sense about things. I think that is what makes them such amazing animals. I do not think your cat and my cat would be friends though. My cat is happy to drink from the toilet.
Cats really are strange creatures. I have a cat that wants us to watch him eat. He will have a full bowl of food and when he's ready to eat he'll come get us by meowing and acting like he's having a panic attack. Then we get into the laundry room and he runs to his bowl and starts eating looking up at us like, "Look at me - I'm eating!!"
My cat sometimes seems like a mini dare devil or something, she assumes that anything can hold her weight and she is a little stocky and always has been even as a kitten, but she is not always that graceful shall I say?
That is just too funny. I love cats and the quirky things they do. They sure are fun aren't they? My cats will put their paw in the water and the drink.
