Default cat sitting

We are going to be sitting for a friend who is going out of town, she is going to bring her kitten over to our house tomorrow and I am just hoping it all works out. We also have an older cat in the house so the baby will have someone to look up to, I hope all goes well I really do but I worry about it a tad. Any advice?

I guess you could always separate them if things start getting ugly. Hopefully you won't have a problem and the older one will take the little one under his wing. Good luck!

It's funny but some cats will just naturally get along, especially with small kittens. But then you have those older ones that want nothing to do with another cat, period. I would just keep a close eye on them at first and if necessary, keep them apart. Good Luck.
