My cat is stinky! He keeps getting into something outdoors. I want to give him a bath but I don't want to be scratched up one side and down the other.

Do you give your cats baths? How often and how do you protect your arms?

My daughter tried to give our cat a bath last night. It did not end up well and my daughter ended up with a few scratches. I would suggest brushing the cat and wiping him or her with a cloth.

I don't bathe my cat, but then again he is strictly an indoor cat. I think Willow is right and you might want to just give him a sponge bath.

I have in the past when they really needed it but most good cats take care of themselves. Maybe you have a lazy cat or he is just getting into trouble to make you give him a bath!
