Default Cats and heating vents

My 25 pound cat is such a pansy! He is always cold and acts like we live in Alaska. This morning I was trying to figure out why it was cold in the living room, but then I saw where he slept last night. He was stretched across the floor vent blocking all the heat from coming into the room! Silly me for thinking that all that fat should be keeping him warm!

You have a 25lb cat, dang! I thought our kittie was big but she might be a light weight contender compared to your own there. Do you worry about his weight at all?

25 pounds is huge! My cats are 14 pounds each and they are huge! Wowsa! What does the Vet say when you take him in? That is a really funny story about your cat too. My cats love to lay on the heat duct in the basement. It comes from the wood stove and it's the warmest part in the house.

How stinkin cute and what a big cat that is. Wow! I don't think I've ever seen one that big. What are you feeding him? He just wants to be warm - I bet the heat puts him to sleep!

Well he might be a "pansy" as you refer to him but he certainly isn't a stupid one! He knows just where to go to make a nice warm bed. And wow, that is a big cat.

You're right Emelia! He's no dummy!

As for size, yea, he's a doozie. He doesn't overeat or anything; he's just huge. The vet calls him "big boned." I have a friend who thinks he may have some Maine Coon in him, but I'm not so sure because he's short haired.
