Do those of you who have dogs use a poop scoop and doggy bags to clean up after them? I did see some biodegradable doggy bags available which I think is a great idea and much greener, although I can understand why some people might not use them if they're more expensive.

When I walk my dog I carry around the grocery bags. Other then that I have the scooper thing that opens and closes and just dump it in a regular garbage bag that is in the garage.

I always clean up after my dog. All the brands of poop bag available locally are biodegradable and I put the poop in the red doggy bins so I assume it is disposed of safely.

We live in the country, so picking up after our dogs isn't necessary. We just mow it over. I would think that it's good fertilizer for the grass, lol.

Our dog has an outside pen and I go through it (yes the lady of the house does the nasty duty) and take it to the far back of our land and I have a doggy compost area. You would be surprised as the wondrous things that can grow back there. When things get in bloom I will have to snap a shot and show everyone.
