Default Dry Shampoo for dogs?

Has anyone used this to help clean your dog when it's to cold to give him a bath outside? Mine really needs a good bath but I just don't have a place inside to do this because he is a big dog and sheds really bad. I thought this might at least help some.

I've seen this type of product before but haven't tried it yet. I would also like to know how well it works. I've got the same problem as you. I just can't bath our big dog inside during the cold weather so it's hard to keep him clean.

I've never seen or heard of dry shampoo for dogs. I would love to use it though. You could always give your dog a bath in your tub and let them stay inside in the warm house to dry off.

My dad was just telling me about dry shampoo for dogs and I really need to look into this. My dogs are a total pain to bathe in any weather. My only concern with the dry shampoo is if it will irritate their skin.

We have a couple of dogs at home, but this dry shampoo is something new to me. I'm not sure if I've heard of it or seen it at the pet store. I think it's a good product though.

Nope but we are thinking about it, our puppy gets stinkier than most dogs seem to. I am wondering if that might be the best route to take, so far anything over the counter only keeps the smell down for a day or so.

Do you have a link for more information? I would love to look into this further. Our dog not only hates baths, he seems to have sensitive skin also.

Just use cornstarch. It does the same thing as the dry shampoo as it absorbs oils and also absorbs odor. The advantages are that it is natural so it won't hurt your pet's sensitive skin and it is dirt cheap compared to buying a special product.

I'll try this one, because my dog has sensitive skin, too. It seems like everything makes him itch. This is a very good tip. Do you think adding baking soda for extra odor zapping can do any harm?
