Default Food Processor for Pet Food?

Has anyone used a food processor to grind up fresh fish and such for pet food? Would this work do you think? I don't really have one of these (yet) and was thinking this might work. We have fresh fish on hand a lot and thought about doing something like this.

I don't see why not. I make my own dog food out of ground beef, oats, pureed vegetables and beans. I cook it in the oven like a meat loaf and serve my dogs 1 slice twice per day. They love it, and they are very healthy for their old age. Give it a try!

That sounds interesting MissMay, I might have to try that one. What kind of oats do you use? Do you just mix it all up and cook until done? I like your idea too Emelia and would think grinding it all up like that would work ok.
