Default harness

Do anyone of you here harness your pets? We have one for the larger dog (hes over 80lbs) and its needed when he is out in public with large crowds. He tends to get a little too excited and being that big we need to make sure he is under control at all times.

We are actually looking for one for our dog so she can go on our state park adventures and camping with us. They make handling a large dog much easier. You have to measure very precisely for them though!

We have a harness for our cat. He is an indoor cat but likes to go outside. Where we live, it is not safe to be an outdoor cat. So we harness him to an overhead long line when he is outside.

I've always used a harness collar for our dog, especially when we go on walks. It is much easier to keep him under control and they can't wiggle out of it if they get real excited and twist their head around.

I've used a harness on ours for a long time. It is a lot easy for walks and such. I've also seen cats on a harness and being walked. If you start them young it is a lot easier to do.

On bigger dogs, has anyone tried the head harness? It seems to make walking them a bit easier than just using the chest harness. I do have a chest harness for my small dog and it's really nice to just be able to pick her up with it if other dogs are threatening her.
