I have just found out that I have extended family coming to visit and it will be for more than one night, two weeks actually but one person is allergic to cats. How can I help ease this when I am not planning to get rid of my pets??

I would recommend that the allergic person bring their allergy medication with them. I would also do a very thorough cleaning of the house. And if your house is big enough to keep the animals separated from the company that might help.
