Default How many pets do you have?

How many pets do you have at your house? We only have one dog at the moment but I am hoping to get another dog soon. Just as soon as I can talk my husband into it...

Just a dog. Have some fish too, but it is hard to consider them pets sometimes.

I have two dogs and a Siamese Fighter Fish - that does nothing all day! My dogs on the other hand are a bundle of energy being Mini Fox Terriers. I love animals and have always had something in the house since I was a kid. I've had a tortoise, mice, hermit crabs, fish, birds and dogs. I think it's very important to have kids grow up with animals as It teaches them to love and look after. I've always said If you don't like animals there's something wrong with you. I think the people who abuse animals haven't grown up with them or their family has mistreated animals.

We have 1 dog, 1 indoor cat and 6 outdoor cats. It's enough to make my head spin, especially when they are all hungry at the same time, lol. And I agree with Ruby that it is important for kids to grow up around animals. It's never too early to teach children to have respect for other creatures.

We got a puppy last month and it's the first animal my kids have ever had. He's super sweet but still very puppy-ish with lots of jumping and running around.

I have two cats, a fish, and a husband. When I was little, every time my mom got pregnant, my dad brought her home a pet to take care of! We had birds, fish, dogs, and hamsters.

We have two dogs, a leopard gecko and 11 pond fish. We have about 5 Koi and the rest are 29 cent gold fish from the pet store that grew to be about 6 inches in length some might be a little bigger than that. We've had our fish for about 6 years and they stay outside all year round.

I started out with one cat, then my husband wanted a dog which I really didn't want to get because I knew I would end up responsible for it. We ended up getting a Husky and he is a good dog, very loving and I am glad we got him. I picked up another cat a few months ago as well. Their names are Zeus and Gypsy the cats, and Trybe the dog.

I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. Fattycat and Midnight are the cats - they are brothers. Emma and Carmen are the 2 dogs, both boxers.

We have more animals than people! There are only 3 of us people in the house!

Homemaker, I hope you do get a second dog. I'm a big believer in dogs being at least in pairs. They need that companionship. Right now, I have two dogs. They are my babies and I just love them to pieces.
