Default I Hope This Is Not True!

I was researching snakes on the internet because my son wants a ball python. I'm not to keen on the idea but he says he'll take care of it and make sure it is in it's habitat. Anyway, I was researching the snake and found an account where a teenager had a friend over to stay the night. He had a python and it had crawled up on top of the refrigerator. He didn't want to bother the snake so he left it there and he and his friend went to bed. In the night the snake crawled into the bed with the boys, bit the friend on the foot and constricted him to death! The policeman who was investigating said the snake obviously couldn't eat the 15 year old but it did kill him and the poor boy had teeth marks on his fingers where he had tried to pry it off of him. I don't think my son is getting one of these. They said these snakes get to such large sizes that it's hard to get rid of them when they become too large for someone to handle! I hope the story I read wasn't true but anyway, my son isn't getting his snake.

Oh gee! That's a terrible story. I hope it isn't true too! What a horrible tragedy for him and his parents and friends. I can't believe it. I'll do an independent search and see if I can find out anything about it. Maybe they had a newspaper article about it somewhere.

I heard a worse one read it actually on msnbc so probably true about a baby that was squeezed to death by a python. This was not a family pet it was released by someone who didn't want it anymore and it got into these other people's house. I have a friend who lives in Florida and said it has become a real problem down there and that there are large snakes, formerly pets all over the place.

Oh my! I hate snakes anyway and those ball pythons-well most pythons get huge! You can't kill them without an axe or a gun. I would hate to meet up with one of those things. And that poor baby.
