This works great for me, so I wanted to share.

To line the litter box, I use 13 gallon trash bags. It fits most litter boxes very well and they're cheaper than regular litter box liners.

The cheapest plastic gloves I've found are from Dollar Tree. You can get a pack of 100 for a dollar. They're one size fits all, but you can't beat the price. And you can't do without gloves if you're changing a litter box every day!

So then what? You have garbage bags full of litter? I am constantly scooping the pans out and refilling with fresh litter. I don't think the garbage bag idea would work for me.

I change the kitty box often but not every day, how many cats do you have? Our box is set to roll on the side, so you can knock on the bottom for any clumps and it lands in the pull out tray.

I only have one cat, but she's had urinary health issues in the past. That's the main reason I change the box daily and use the liner. It cuts down on bacteria which is better for my kitty's situation.

I use the pan liners, but cheap garbage bags would probably be cheaper. I pay about $3 for 12 liner bags. I think three times as many generic brand garbage bags would only be like $1 more. Thanks for the tip, Avery!
