I know our outside cat really likes to hunt and most times its okay but I do worry about her eating the wrong things. Cant cats die of certain things that come from birds and mice?

I think they can so I would try to watch what they are eating. I know some people put rat poison out and then mice get into the poison. If a cat eats a mouse that has gotten into rat poison, it could harm the cat too.
