Default Medicated baby powder on small sore?

Our cat has a small sore on his neck that is hard to heal as he keeps scratching it. I think as it is healing it starts to itch and that is what's happening. I just wondered if maybe putting a little bit of the medicated baby powder (or plain) might help it not to itch so?

Well it sounds like a good idea. I do know that you have to be careful what you use on cats though. I would look at the ingredients and see what they are. You could always check with your Vet and see what she/he says.

We always make sure we have a bottle of liquid silver around the house. It is beneficial for pets, too, and it works exceptionally well. Occasionally we put some in the dogs water. My vet told me there are extremely few medicines that humans use that are advantageous for pets, too. She said Benedryl is OK to give to my dog for itchy skin. This may help with your cat, but I would ask first.
