Default My daughter wants a pet
My 10yr old has been bugging me for a pet of any kind for as long as I can remember. I am hesitant to get her one as I am afraid I will be the one taking care of it. I just don't have the energy for it. Any suggestions?

That is a hard one. Maybe you can start off with something small like a turtle or frog. Something easy to take care of, although not really petable.

My daughter has a cat and does a great job. My son has a snake and does a really nice job as well. I do not think either one is ready for a dog.
