Default My dog and gourds

Last year my dog loved to get the gourds that we had decorated with and carry them to her dog house. Well we have one growing there now. The plant is huge and I see little gourds on it. What a silly dog we have.

That's pretty funny, happymom. I guess this year your dog will have all the gourds she could ever want, lol. And maybe she'll be kind of enough to let you pick a few for decorating

That is too funny! I wonder if she ate them? Is that safe? I would have chased her every time she got a new gourd. We decorate with a ton of pumpkins and gourds, I would hate for my dogs to get them and move them around!

Clever little pup! You didn't plant them for her, so she planted them herself. We have a neighbor's dog who comes on our porch if the gate is undone and carries off our garden statues. He chewed up the last rabbit he took so there wasn't anything to take back. Normally, we just go to his yard and retrieve things. Guess he got tired of us taking the stuff back.

It's amazing what dogs will carry around sometimes. Mine found an old deer hind leg that had mummified and he brought it home. I kept taking it away from him and he would follow me begging. I finally got him some of those huge rawhide bones and he forgot about the deer leg. LOL
