for the last couple of weeks my dog will look at me and whine. I follow him to see what he wants but he just stands there looking at me.The only thing I can figure out is he wants someone to play with him. I play with him for a little while then go back to what I was doing. Pretty soon there he is again. Whining. Any suggestions?

Dogs need a lot of attention so, if you can, maybe you can get him a play pal or take him for more walks. That's all I can suggest if he is bored. If he's not bored then you may want to take him to the vet and see what's bothering him. He may be getting bit by fleas or ticks or there maybe other health issues going on. It's hard to say because he can't tell you what's wrong.

My guess is that he is bored out of his mind and wants more time with you. Take him out to the park and play catch or something. See if that will do the trick. Just don't do it after he whines otherwise whenever he wants to play, he'll whine.
