Default Anybody tried these?

Has anybody tried the huge ziploc brand bags for storing clothing and bedding? I need to store some stuff in the attic and I was wondering if these would keep the bugs and dust out well?

I am a reformed "bag and bin lady". I used to have a gazillion ziploc bags, totes, bins, etc. I really wanted to store all my stuff, but all I did was acquire a lot of storage containers. Now back to the question. Yes, I'm sure they would do a fine job of storing your items, but I much prefer to have less stuff overall and more space. I keep my excess quilts in a lovely cedar chest at the end of my bed and during the winter when they are in use I put my summer clothes in there too.

The bags work well yes. They are not as good as the vacuum sealed bags, which really are fantastic, but they are a passable solution.

I love those huge Ziplocs. I crochet and knit, and it is a great way to store my done projects before finding them an owner. I haven't seen one big enough for bedding.

I received some from a friend but I haven't tried them yet. I was thinking I would use it for some of out of season clothing. I have quilts that need to be stored also but I can manage them in my closets without putting them in storage.
