Default Arranging Home Using Feng Shui

I have a friend who is using Feng Shui to organize his home. They even used the principles of this Chinese principle in the building of their house. I don't really understand the basics of Feng Shui but I'm interested in knowing it. I only know that they will be lucky if they follow the Feng Shui.

Feung Shui is a science that keeps balance of the yin and yang. Believers use it not only for their home but also in keeping the balance in their lives. No harm in trying it for good luck.

I saw a book about this recently and I almost bought it, but then I decided I don't have time to balance my yin and yang, lol. I can see the theory in this, but, as homeworker said, it isn't just about balancing your home; it's about balancing your life too. Until I can get my life in order, there's no point in rearranging my furniture

That is quite funny. I think rearranging the furniture will help in making your life in order. You will feel lighter when you come home to a house that is in order.

Homeworker is correct though. I think the arranging of the house is part of our life so believers of also arrange their home according to the principles of Feng Shui.

I like the idea of Feng Shui as a lot of it is very logical. Little things like not having your bed facing the door, as it sub-consciencely makes you feel like leaving. Or having your bed under a window, as you'll be unaware of intruders.

That's very interesting. My daughter is very interested in Feng Shui. I never really thought about it. From personal experience though, when putting your life in order it is sometimes easier to start with something you consider little.

I agree with you that we should start fixing things, including our problems in life, with the simplest. More often the big problems that we have can be solved by resolving the small ones.
