Default Books!

I have a horrible habit of collecting books. I call it horrible, because I have no more room in my house to put books. I've got them in closets, under beds, under furniture, behind furniture, my desk is lined with them and we have a couple of bookcases I have full. I think it may be time for me to get rid of some again.

That sounds like a real habit there. I have a lot of books but I don't think I'm that bad. I do collect ebooks though. So it saves a lot of space and a lot of weight. I don't have to dust virtual books.

You can always donate them, tons of places accept books and some even pay you for them. I have a small collection myself and at least 7 that I can think of right now that need to be read at some point.

I agree, my local library has a great donation process and they use the books they can and sell the ones they already have to raise funds to keep the library open.

We have a daycare not that far from here who ties in eith the schools in the area. We can drop off any book we like and they will make sure it gets a good home. Love it!

I don't buy a lot of "real" books anymore because they do just take up so much space. I do download a ton of Kindle editions though. I like them because I can have thousands and not have to worry about storing them.

I love the Kindle. It makes it so easy to store tons of books without worrying about space or dusting. I always wanted one of the computers on Star Trek that had all of the books on them. Now I have!

I would definitely recommend getting a Kindle or at least the app for your PC. It is great for avid readers and cheaper sometimes too.I would find somewhere to donate the books so that they can find a good home.

Books are something I just cannot get rid of. I thin my collection very, very rarely. My whole family loves to read so we just store the books we don't have room for in the attic. Our attic runs the length of the house, and we only use a tiny bit of space up there.

There's nothing like holding a real book in your hands and reading it. It's the feel, the smell and the sight of the book, laid open for your pleasure. They are full of potential and promise. It's always a surprise for your enjoyement.
