My kitchen counter is a catch-all whenever someone comes in the door and I am fed up with it. Does anyone else have this problem? It just seems like it is the easiest place to dump stuff like sunglasses, keys, mail, etc.
I don't have this problem because we built a special shelf next to the door for that sort of thing. Then each person is responsible for getting their stuff, other wise I throw it away. Unless it's money, then its mine. :P
I am pretty lucky because we have a sun room that leads outside. We have a shelf in there for kitchen clutter. That room leads to the kitchen. It is hard to fix this if you can't get the whole family on board.
