My partner and I are going away this winter and we're worried about the garage flooding while we're away. It happens sometimes when it pours down but we're there to clean it up the next day. Is there something I can use to block or asbsorb the water while we're gone?

We had spill kits in the workshop where I used to work and they had things such as sandbags and super-absorbent pads. We used to put them under the doors of the workshop when there
was heavy rain.
