Default Getting outside help

I am way behind in my housework because of some unforeseen circumstances, I am going to call an agency and see if they can send someone to help, I do wonder what the cost is like though?

My partner and I both work long hours and most weekends- so we are struggling to keep the house clean. We just need 2 bathrooms, kitchen, floors and dusting of a 3 bedroom house and probably once a fortnight.

We're considering hiring a free-lancer as they're around $30-$40 an hour (2-3 hrs) and we just supply our own cleaning products. If you prefer the safety of an agency then be prepared to pay at least $50 an hour.

Oh gosh! In our area you can have the whole house cleaned for $50 total. We have several ladies who contract with different households all of the time. They do this for a living and do very well financially doing this.

Most of the people I know that do this for a living charge $10 an hour. I have never used a service. Maybe some will give you a flat rate if they can come over and see what you need done.
