Default Home Office

I seem to be running out of space in my house. I would like some ideas as where to put my home office without it taking too much space.

You know, what I've done is turned my bedroom into my room/office. It has been working really nicely and it really doesn't take up as much space as you would think.

I made the eat in kitchen/breakfast nook area my home office. I got a great corner desk. I wish I had a door for it, but it works well for now. My husband jokes about putting up a sliding curtain around the area so I can close it off. He doesn't know I'm actually considering it!

When our house was being built I claimed the space that was designated as a small laundry area as a home office instead. Then we incorporated a mudroom into part of our garage space, and that's where the laundry gets done.

I've seen home offices built into the space under the stairs. I think that works best when you have an open plan staircase though. I would clear some other things out to make room for it!

I have a den and a living room so I made the den my home office/playroom. It's a bit chaotic, but it works well because I can be near my daughter all day while I'm working.

I have my home office on the landing at the second floor. From there, I can easily go down if I have to attend to something, and I don't get disturbed when somebody arrives.
