I always want to get things organize but I really am not good at it. Right now my mud room is a total mess with everything from x-mas lights to a computer waiting to be fixed. Does anybody have any organizational ideas for a mud room? I would like something simple and not costly. I would mainly like to keep all the dog gear, shoes, coats, back packs and those types of things in there.

Add more hooks, maybe, so that you can hang more items instead of just dumping them in a corner of the room. Hooks can hold bags, coats, dog leash, etc. Use boxes and containers or baskets to hold similar items together.
