Default Inventive Storage Space

What is the most "inventive" storage space you have come up with in your home? I put a metal shelf unit in my boiler closet where I store holiday decorations. It was a great way to make use of an extra two feet of floor space, and because I only have to go in there once a year, it's perfect!

I read your post and have been sitting here thinking for the past few minutes, only to come up with the answer that I do not have any inventive storage space in my house. Under the bed is probably as creative as I have gotten.

I can always find a way to storage something somewhere without the normal cramming and possible breaking of the item. My spouse tells me that I am creative, I just say I am lucky. Right now the last one I setup was an area within an existing hall closet that has every possible space used to the max. A few extra shelves is all it took plus a drop down that works for the things we seldom need (kind of like on a pulley system).

For me, I guess my most inventive thing would be to use containers to organize small stuff with. I will use anything from pretty bowls to tissue boxes. Baskets are one of my favorites, though, as they look pretty on the shelf or even hanging from a ceiling.

I need you to come to my house. It's very small and finding storage is difficult. It's so bad that we have things piled (neatly, at least) in the corners of our bedrooms.
