Default Large, outdoor toys

My daughter got some outdoor stuff for Christmas, like a Big Wheel, a t-ball set, all different sized balls, etc. While these are outdoor toys, I don't want to keep them out in the elements all the time. How do you store things like this in your house?

Do you have a garage or an outside storage box? That is the best place I know where people store them, or maybe on an inside porch if its closed off from wind and rain.

We have 1 garage (2 story) 1 large shop and several storage shops outside. Nothing is left out to get rusty or beat up. You can buy storage shops pretty cheap.

We have a garage, too, where we store large or expensive items. It gives peace of mind from theft. If deciding to get some type storage shed or box, a secure lock will be necessary, too.

We have a big basement with tons of shelving in one of the larger rooms that is strictly for storage. If it's too big for the shelf, it stays on the floor. Our previous house had a garage with an overhead attic that we used for storage.

We use a big outdoor toy bin that is plastic for these types of things. Bikes and things that are too big for the bin go in the garage.

Either in the garage or if there's no room there I'll use a simple poly tarp to cover these things up during winter. Either way they'll be protected.

I'll store most of the stuff from my yard in the garage during colder months whey it is not in use. For everything else, I try to store in the house if possible. I'll rarely leave anything in the yard.
