Default Magazine stand

I have loads of magazines, do you think a magazine stand would look too formal in my living room area, or would it be better suited for a small reading room?

It depends on what it looks like. How formal is the stand? I would suggest a magazine rack or better yet, read the magazines and recycle them. I hate having magazines in the house.

I always save my holiday magazines for the recipes and whatnot. I keep them in a magazine rack in our den. When the next holiday season comes along, I just move the old magazines to a closet and put out the new ones.

I don't own much magazines but I do have books. However I have a friend who is addicted to magazines. He has a small magazine rack beside his sofa in his living room. He changes them everyday so that his visitors can read new magazines. He keep his old magazines in his study room and for me it already looked like a magazine shop.

I do not keep old magazines. If there are articles or recipes that I like, I just cut them out and put them in a scrap book for future reference. I don't place magazines in my living room.

I do the same thing homeworker does. I cut out recipes and tips and then throw the magazine out. My house would be so cluttered if I kept the all. Some times I take the old magazines to my doctors office for people to read. Or my kids doctors office. They love that.
