Default New Purex sheets

Have you seen the new purex 3-1 sheets they have out?

They come in a container of 20 sheets. My store has them for $5.99 right now (on sale). They are laundry detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheet all in the same sheet. When you do a load of laundry, you throw the sheet right into the washing machine. It using up the purex and the fabric softener while it is in there. Then, when you move your clothes to the dryer, you put the same sheet in the dryer and the heat activates the dryer sheet. Pretty neat, huh?

I have not tried them yet. I am going to buy them this week and try them out. $5.99 is a bit pricey but that is for 20 loads of laundry for washing and drying.

Have you tried them yet?

I saw these and considered trying them, but I think $5.99 is definitely too pricey for me for only 20 loads. I could get twice the amount of loads out of my detergent that I pay the same price for. However, I am not a big fan of fabric softener or dryer sheets due to a skin sensitivity. If this is for someone who uses all those products it just might be worth it.

I agree SadieLou. I seriously considered it but then when I figured it up, I thought it was just too expensive. But if you consider that it takes the place of three products, it may be worth it. The only thing is I don't like Purex detergent so I don't think it would be for me anyway.

I had them in my hand yesterday. I found them in Walmart for $5.49. I was reading the back of the container and it said that if you have an extra large load--to use 2 sheets. Then I got to thinking, "What if I have a small load?" Do I cut the thing in half?

Needless to say, I put it back on the shelf and bought my regular detergent. I want to wait for some more reviews on the product.

I was going to try them because we use Purex detergent anyway but at my store they were $9.99 which is way way too exspensive. If I found them on sale for around $5 I might give them a try.

Wow... I didn't see these yet. I'm a fan of Tide and Gain - I like the Febreeze smell. That is a great price for 20 loads for fabric softener and detergent! I see my CVS has them on sale this week for buy 1 get 1. Now that would be a steal. I might go try them out. I will have to smell them first. I'm all about the smell

This is the first I have heard of them. I might be willing to try them out if they were buy 1 get one free and I had coupons for each one, but other than that; I will probably just stick to what I have been using.

I have seen ads in magazines for them but I haven't purchased them and tried them myself. I usually use Tide but my daughter swears by Purex detergent so maybe I'll see if she's tried these.

This might be a great idea for us when we travel to our timeshare in October. I always hate buying a small thing of detergent while I'm there. I never use it all, and it's usually more expensive to buy the small container, but, once again the waste issue. Bringing a few of these with would take care of our few loads we usually do and I could pack them without worry.

Would love to hear if anyone has tried them yet.

I haven't tried them but I would only think to use them in travel situations. For my family, the cost factor would certainly outweigh any benefit.
